**New format! Saturday night at the Legion!**

HOW does it work?

Students must have some prior instruction on their instruments to participate; this camp is not for the 'raw' beginner. Fiddle tunes are selected by instructors then a link to the audio files and sheet music is sent to you once your registration fees have been received. This gives you the opportunity to learn and PRACTICE THE TUNES ahead of time. The focus at camp is on creating orchestrations and group dynamics. Click below to see the camp schedule . . .

WHAT is it all about?

Shivering Strings 'South' is a weekend music camp modelled after the original Shivering Strings in Nova Scotia created by Gordon Stobbe in 2010. A sister camp  in Saskatoon - Shivering Strings 'West' - has existed since 2011. It's a weekend of musical fun and at the centre is the unique approach to old time fiddle music . . .

WHO is coming?

Led by Gordon Stobbe himself, for 2017, we have some of Canada's finest Musicians teaching arrangements in fiddle, guitar, banjo and piano & mando! Joining Gordon are Cathy Sproule, Daniel Koulack, JJ Guy, Patti Kusturok, Donna Turk, Marcel Hapel, Eric Wright,  Click below  for Instructor bios . . .

**PLEASE STAY TUNED AS WE UPDATE INSTRUCTOR BIOS :) **
